It’s that time of year again!
Now is the season for precious time with family, delicious food, exchanging of gifts, lazy days at the beach or a shady spot in the garden with a good book. But especially, time to reflect on the year past.
So much to be grateful for.
So here’s wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and all the good things you deserve in the coming year.
Thank you to fellow bloggers whose posts have inspired, and entertained me all year. My gratitude to you all for taking the time to follow my blog.

Hi Robyn. Thanks to you for posting thought provoking pieces. I may not always comment, but that’s a reflection of my somewhat busy life right now; I still enjoy reading them. 🙂
Another year comes to an end soon; another year Mum gets to see her son arrive with flowers, smiles and memories. Sadly this year her verbal communication has stopped as the dementia has taken hold of that part of her life. But she smiles when I recount old memories of a boy growing up in Toowoomba under her parenting. What used to evoke a response was talk of her garden and nurturing skills. Once a gardener always one…
Merry Christmas to you and yours Robyn, and keep those posts coming.
Cheers!
Kim

Thanks for your kind words Kim.
I do feel for your heartbreaking situation. How fortunate your mum is to have you share her life with you, especially in what surely must be confusing times for her. As I’m sure you would know people with dementia retain long term memory well beyond the loss of short term and working memory so your talking to her about old times is such a gift. Gardening is about growing things – our plants our children, ourselves, among many other things. Life is a garden.
Enjoy your Christmas Kim. Wishing all you hope for in the new year.
